Common Trust Fund

The Common Trust Fund (CTF) investment options are comprised of funds that are selected either from the broad market of mutual funds (Total Market funds) or of funds selected from mutual fund companies that strive to be socially responsible (Socially Responsible Investing).

Total Market Funds

Meet specific investing objectives.

The CTFs are comprised of various investment strategies designed to meet a specific investment objective. We use analytical tools to determine the appropriate asset allocation between stocks, bonds, and money market exposure to achieve the optimal balance of risk and return.

Note: Specific social investment screens are not applied to mutual fund selections held in the Total Market CTF.

Socially Responsible Investing

Invest with society and the environment in mind.

Socially responsible investing options go one step further. By screening out companies engaging in business activity that conflicts with our stated core values, these options offer funds that seek to invest in companies whose products and services benefit society with limited negative effect to the natural environment.

Investment return, while sometimes reduced, should not be the upmost concern for the investor selecting from these options. Even though the process is not perfect, this option is a valid attempt to invest in funds that are consistent with core values of the Brethren in Christ.

Our Common Trust Fund Investor Questionnaire can help you select the right fund for your needs, goals, and values.
