Revolution Church: Kids Community Outreach

The BIC Foundation (BICF) partners with growing congregations as God moves in their midst. Through the Matching Grant Program, BICF helps jumpstart new outreach initiatives and ministries through direct financial assistance.

Recently, Revolution Church in Salina, Kans., received a grant to host a kids’ fun day for their community – led by the RevoYouth teens!

Nearly 70 kids attended, over half of whom were not previously connected with Revolution. The youth group led worship, crafts, and gave two Bible lessons about Jesus and the gospel.

This program not only helped Revolution Church connect with more families in their community but also gave their youth group an opportunity to practice leadership skills and share the good news of Jesus. “Our teens are becoming strong leaders ready to teach the world about God!” said Carrie Mitchell, Revolution’s youth director.

How can the Foundation partner with your new ministry? BIC U.S. congregations are eligible to receive up to $2,000 for new ministry initiatives. Learn more about the Matching Grant Program.

How does the BIC Foundation fund projects like this?
