For Congregations and Organizations

At the Brethren in Christ Foundation, we want to continue to meet the needs of our members. As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve and is lasting longer than many of us expected, we realize it may be some time before a return to “normal” occurs. Congregations and organizations have not been able to meet or hold functions and this may have caused a reduction in income.

Therefore, for those congregations and organizations who require relief on their loan, we are extending the option of interest-only payments from our original three months to the end of August 2020. Be aware that this will also add additional time to the length of your loan term. Please contact us, preferably by email, if you would like to discuss further or plan to take advantage of this arrangement. Send your emails to John Burns, Loan Officer (jburns@bicfoundation.org), and also copy David Fish, Controller (dfish@bicfoundation.org). We will then follow up with you to finalize the details.

We do want to remind you that it is your loan payments that supply the funds to pay interest to our investors. Therefore, we do ask that you seriously consider continuing to make full payments if at all possible.

Finally, if you have unique circumstances, please contact us to discuss. We will do our best to work with you on an individual basis.

We continue to pray for the health and well-being of all our congregations and organizations, and trust that God will continue to provide for the needs of his people.
